Charley Steiner will call the Los Angeles Dodgers’ home postseason games on AM 570 and the team’s radio network, beginning with Games 1 and 2 of the National League Division Series on October 3 and 4, True Blue LA reported September 30. Stephen Nelson is scheduled to handle radio play-by-play for road games.

What it means locally

The home assignments mark Steiner’s return to the playoffs after a debilitating back injury and cancer kept him from postseason work during the past two years. He called 35 Dodgers games during the 2026 regular season, gradually increasing from partial games to 10 complete broadcasts over the final six weeks. The Dodgers’ official broadcaster page lists Steiner as a five-time Emmy winner and National Radio Hall of Famer. The accompanying photograph shows Steiner in 2008 and is archival; it does not depict the 2026 season or postseason.
