Jay-Z brings anniversary show to Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium

Jay-Z opened a two-night Inglewood run Friday with a career-spanning set at SoFi Stadium, according to a Los Angeles Times review.

The show was part of the rapper’s JAŸ-Z30 celebration, timed to the 30th anniversary of his debut album, Reasonable Doubt, and the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint. The Times reported that he performed parts of roughly three dozen songs over two hours.

Guest moments punctuate the set

The Times reported that Blue Ivy joined her father to play piano during two songs, while Scarface came onstage for a pair of performances. The review described a set that moved across several eras of Jay-Z’s catalog.
