Voters can cast a ballot, return a vote-by-mail ballot, request a replacement ballot, update registration and receive voting assistance at any open vote center, according to the Orange County Registrar of Voters. The first 39 centers opened October 24 and operate daily through October 30.

October 24–30: 39 vote centers open, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.

October 31–November 2: 191 vote centers open, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.

Election Day, November 3: All centers open, 7 a.m.–8 p.m.

Pop-up centers add neighborhood service

The registrar is also operating five one-day pop-up vote centers through November 2. The first is scheduled for October 25 at Leisure World in Seal Beach and is limited to residents and guests; later dates are set for Anaheim, Irvine, San Juan Capistrano and Santa Ana.

The county advises voters to use its location finder for the nearest vote center or ballot drop box. Returning a ballot early can help it be included in election-night reporting, but mailed ballots must be postmarked by Election Day.
