Broncos rally past Rams 30–26 on final-play interception

Denver erased a 16-point deficit before Talanoa Hufanga intercepted Matthew Stafford’s final pass as time expired.

The Denver Broncos rallied from 16 points down to defeat the Los Angeles Rams 30–26 on Sunday Night Football at Empower Field at Mile High, NBC Los Angeles reported September 27. Bo Nix scored the go-ahead touchdown on a quarterback run with 47 seconds remaining.

What it means locally

Matthew Stafford moved Los Angeles into scoring range on the final possession, but Denver safety Talanoa Hufanga intercepted his last pass as time expired. Hufanga also returned an earlier Stafford interception 66 yards for a fourth-quarter touchdown. The loss dropped the Rams to 1–2, while Denver improved to 2–1.
