California highlights expanded extreme-heat planning

The state points to an updated action plan and ZIP-code-level heat tool.

In its Climate Week update, California cited a revised Extreme Heat Action Plan and expanded CalHeatScore information for communities. The tools are meant to help agencies and residents understand heat risk.
